Artist Statement
My images are created with cold wax and oil, layers of color are built up, carved into and built upon again to evoke both sophisticated brightness and often a whimsical feeling. There is an element of surprise that I enjoy in the process.
Edmonds Connection
I am on the Art Walk Edmonds Committee and have been on it for about 8 years. I also am on the Mural Committee and the Events Committee for Art Walk Edmonds. I have juried children's art and miniatures for the Edmonds Art Festival. I have also volunteered to hang artwork in the gallery at the Edmonds Art Festival.
