2022 Edmonds Art Studio Tour - All Welcome

Artists in order from left to right: Lea Fairbanks, Martha Hurst, Claire Faltesek, Doug Lofstrom

Edmonds Art Studio Tour is excited to announce this year’s in-person community engagement

when we open the studios of our artists to those interested in purchasing handmade works and

learning more about each artist’s creative process.

A Creative View Into the Artists

The artists selected to participate in the annual studio tour are chosen based on specific criteria,

including a connection to the Edmonds community. During the weekend of September 17th &

18th, the public can tour their studios where all artists will be featuring their work and will be

available to discuss their creative process. Some will also be sharing demonstrations during this

time. Their work, much of it for purchase, is currently featured on each artist’s website, and all

are accessible via the Edmonds Art Studio Tour website.

Art is Healing

Art has many healing qualities to not only the artists who create, but also to those who find a

connection with art. Now more than ever we can all benefit from something which clears the

mind. This year’s artists appreciate your support and in turn hope to provide you with a healthy

distraction.

This year’s studio tour is made possible by the volunteer time of the participating artists, the

generous financial contributions of our sponsors, and funding from the Edmonds Arts Festival

Foundation and the Edmonds Arts Commission Tourism Promotion Fund through the City of

Edmonds Lodging Tax fund.
