Edmonds Connection
Scott Anstett has established a meaningful connection to Edmonds, Washington, having lived in the community since 2022, with his family roots in the area dating back to the late 1900s. As an active participant in the Edmonds Art Studio Tour for the past two years, Scott creates his paintings within the collaborative environment of the Graphite Arts Center’s shared studio space in downtown Edmonds. He values Edmonds for its unique blend of a small-town atmosphere combined with big-city aspirations, a vibrant and supportive arts culture, and the natural beauty of the region, particularly its deep ties to the Salish Sea. This connection profoundly influences his artistic practice and personal appreciation of the community.
