Artist Statement
"Patty is inspired by the realism of everyday life with all its colors and whimsy. She works mainly with tight compositions involving among others, birds, boats, cars, flowers and toys. She can always be found with a camera by her side. Along with photography Patty works with oils, printmaking and watercolor. Her photography influences compositions to paint, keep as a cropped image or use for a printmaking subject. Recently Patty is exploring abstract work in her paintings and photography.
Starting in 2023, Patty is a returning artist from Mountlake Terrace where she works in her own studio or visits Edmonds Artworks."
Edmonds Connection
Patty has exhibited at local galleries and venues in Edmonds for over a dozen years. Patty has been accepted as a gallery artist for the Edmonds Art Festival selling several of her paintings and photographs. Since 2018 Patty is honored to be part of the Edmonds Art Festival Team hanging original art work in the main gallery.
